Just got this book in the mail.  Wow, it explains fairly complex procedures in a way that I can understand!  Something the 300 + page manual for my Otari can’t do.

I’m no book-learner but this one will come in handy.  It is geared towards idiots / maniacs / weirdos / luddites like myself that have big old reel to reel tape machines and analog mixers.  Most recording books / literature / magazines these days are geared towards DAW recording, so it’s good to see something for us analog people. 

Not that there is anything wrong with DAWs mind you…. I would love to have a problem free, easy to use little laptop system that I could whip up ideas into songs with backing tracks, soft synths, samplers, etc.  No i’m not jealous, just crazy. 

Oh yeah, I have nothing against book-learners either….. ha ha
